My daughter & I had a lovely one night stay at Greyfriars Lodge. We wish we could have stayed longer. Our twin room on the ground floor was clean, spacious, roomy, well appointed & quaint (in a good way!) The breakfast was plentiful & delicious. The 5 minute walk to the car park was inevitable given that the hotel is practically on the High Street. It was quiet outside during the night, but we did stay on a Sunday night. After breakfast we had a short stroll in pretty Greyfriars Gardens immediately behind the hotel. I will stay here again when visiting Canterbury.

Enormous bed, good service and delicious breakfast ! It was spectacular, everything was easy and comfortable, the spot is at the center of the city, and the personal super-professional. You will always think that the price could be lower, but, being honest, it was the price for everything that we were provided.

The property is in a great position and despite being accommodated in the front room on the ground floor we slept well all through the night. There were no noises or disturbances. The beds were also super-comfortable. The hosts were friendly and nice and made us fell very welcome. The decor is a little dated and could do with some upgrading.

We stayed in this hotel for our 5th wedding anniversary earlier in July. The young lady who welcomed us was very nice and helpful, rooms were neat and tidy. Breakfast was reallly good , hot croissant and tasteful jam as well as a home-made lemon cake. We really loved the place, perfectly located and the gardens at the back are very pleasant for a morning walk. Would totally recommend.

Stayed here when visiting Canterbury for sons graduation. Very helpful with trying to fit in an extra guest when extra tickets where released. So convenient for town centre, reasonably priced. Pleasant staff who were happy to help. Room was comfortable with everything you would need in it and breakfast was lovely.
