Arriving in Canterbury

By Car:

When entering Canterbury you will most likely be on the A2090 or the A28 which act as a ring road to the city following its historic walls and turrets. Greyfriars Lodge is easily accessed via Castle Street, an exit from the roundabout where these two roads meet.

If using a SatNav or to locate us online our full address is: Greyfriars Lodge, 6 Stour Street, Canterbury, Kent, CT1 2NR.

Due to the central location of Greyfriars Lodge no onsite parking is available. Due to this, we are a member of the Canterbury City Centre parking scheme which allows us to offer all guests the option of two parkings permits at a significantly reduced rate. Contact us on 01227 788 455 or email us at enquiries@greyfriarslodgecanterbury.co.uk for more details.

By Train:

Canterbury has two rail stations at either side of the city. Greyfriars Lodge is an approximate 9 minute walk from Canterbury West, and 10 minute walk from Canterbury East and you can enjoy some of the local area on your way through the city centre and High Street.

By Bus/Coach:

Canterbury Bus/Coach Station is situated at the top of the High Street on St. Georges Lane. It is an approximate 8 minute walk to Greyfriars, straight down the High Street and left onto Stour Street.
